This very interesting object, carved from a lovely coloured piece of jade and appears to be pre-Columbian but I am unable to authenticate it and unfortunately do not have any provenance for it other than it came from the estate of a collector. It certainly has the appearance of an artefact with some age to it.
There is a crack in the middle of it and may have been broken and repaired but its not obvious.
