Well made vintage sword from northern Nigeria, likely from the Hausa people and dating first half of the last century. The double edged blade is etched down each side and the leather sheath has has been made from three different tones of cow hide. The sword is in great condition for its age and would make an excellent addition to any collection of African tribal art.
